Italian School in Tehran
The Italian School also known as Pietro Della Valle accepts children from kindergarten to high school level. It is one the oldest established embassy schools in Tehran, being open for more than four decades. The Italian school is classed as a mixed school from kindergarten upwards.
The school is affiliated with the Italian Embassy in downtown Tehran, but the school itself is built on the grounds of the Italian embassy gardens in the Farmanieh area of the city.
Pietro Della Valle is built in three sections with a nursery and kindergarten in one section, while the middle and high school are situated in the two larger buildings. The school comes equipped with an indoor gymnasium as well as an outdoor playground.
The school teaches primarily in Italian but with lessons in French and English also. The Italian language courses follow the framework of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR), a descriptive system used to evaluate the skills obtained by European language learners.

Each year, the fees can be paid in two ways an advance payment of the entire amount by 15 September of that year with a 10% discount, or each semester in three intervals.
The school also states it offers family discounts of 25% on the second child and 30% on the third child enrolled with Pietro Della Valle.

Registration and Admission
Like many foreign schools, admission is only accessible to people who hold foreign passports. Iranian passport holders will not be given access to the school after kindergarten in most cases.
