Gran Miras Rashidieh Hotel, sometimes spelt Geran Miras Hotel, is one of Tehran's newest hotels. It is a 46-room property on Fallahzadeh Street, off the Ashrafi Esfahani Highway near Poonak Square in the north-west of the city, and its first guest reviews date from autumn 2024.

It is marketed as a five-star hotel, with a restaurant, a coffee shop, a buffet breakfast, conference and banquet rooms, a business centre, laundry and a 24-hour front desk. Parking is free and the hotel offers airport transfers.

Poonak is a residential district with good access to the western expressways, but it is a long way from the historic centre. The hotel is listed on the main Iranian booking sites and on Trip.com.

Persian name (show your driver): هتل گران میراث رشیدیه

Address: No. 35, Fallahzadeh Street, Ashrafi Esfahani Highway, Poonak Square, Tehran

Area: West/north-west Tehran, Poonak (Punak)

Rooms: 46

Facilities: Restaurant, coffee shop, breakfast buffet, free parking, airport transfer, conference/banquet rooms, business centre, 24-hour front desk, laundry

Booking: Listed on Iranian booking sites (Alibaba, Snapptrip, Flytoday, booking.ir, Raheeno, Alaedin)

Paying: Foreign bank cards do not work in Iran, so bring enough euros or dollars in cash and change them at an exchange office or the hotel desk. Prices on Iranian booking sites are in rials or tomans and may differ from the rate a hotel quotes to foreign guests, so confirm the price in writing before you arrive.

The Gran Miras Hotel suits visitors with business or family in the west of Tehran who want a new, quiet hotel rather than one of the big names. Being so new, it has few reviews in English, so check the latest on Tripadvisor before you book. Ask the hotel to send a car to the airport, as Poonak is not always familiar to taxi drivers at Imam Khomeini.
