French School in Tehran
Ecole Française de Téhéran (EFT) is the only French international school located in Tehran, Iran. It is at Gholhak Garden, the British embassy residential complex, in the Gholhak area.
The school serves from the maternelle (preschool) level, up to the lycée (senior high school) level. As of 2011, it had 256 students, including foreigners and Iranians. The school is on the property of the British Embassy.
The parents association manages the French School in Tehran. It is placed under the authority and protection of the French Embassy, which acts on behalf of the AEFE (The Agency for French Education Abroad).
The Association of Parents has signed a “Convention.EFT” with the AEFE. The school is Co-Ed and so welcomes girls and boys and starts at the lower kindergarten and goes up to “Terminal”.
