The Niavaran Cultural Center, the first cultural center of Iran, holds an important place in the nation’s cultural heritage. Inside the Niavaran Cultural Center

The center is also home to one of the largest art galleries in Iran, with an area of 25,000 square meters. This four and a half floor gallery is divided into two sections, with the larger section accommodating works from prominent artists and the smaller section dedicated to the creations of younger talents.

Theatres at Niavaran Cultural Center

The cultural center houses two performance halls named the Persian Gulf Hall and Gousheh Hall. The Persian Gulf Hall, with a seating capacity of 262, is equipped with professional facilities suitable for screening cinematic movies, staging theatre performances, and hosting concerts. The Gousheh Hall, with a capacity of 109 seats, boasts semi-professional audio and visual capabilities.

The Niavaran Cultural Center features an expansive library with a comprehensive collection of cultural and artistic literature. The center’s grounds are also home to a garden designed in traditional Iranian style, providing a serene environment for visitors to enjoy.

Niavaran Cultural Center is located at the end of Pasdaran Street, opposite Niavaran Park in Tehran. Those using public transport can get off at Nobonyad station on Metro Line 3 and take a taxi to reach the center.
