From Private Residence to Artistic Haven

Originally built in 1931 as a private residence belonging to Lieutenant General Ahmad Amir Ahmadi and his wife, Turan Mohajer Eslami, the main building of the museum underwent extensive repairs in 2005, culminating in its transformation into the Iranian Art Museum Garden in the winter of 2006. This metamorphosis breathed new life into the space, allowing it to serve as a testament to Iran’s rich cultural heritage and a platform for artistic expression.
